CoolAutomation 2026 Driver Suite 1.1.1 Release Notes ## [1.1.1] - 2026-10-23 ### Status - Install Manager, Zone, Sensor, HOA Zone, and optional CoolPlug Helper from this package together. Older Manager and child builds should not be mixed with 1.1.1. - Production pin names and order are unchanged. Auto Soak is a test tool and is not in the customer package. ### Fixed - **Connection recovery:** A device could stop answering commands even while TCP still showed connected. After five consecutive command timeouts, Manager now reconnects and starts communication again while `Connect` stays high. - **Queue overflow:** When replies stopped, waiting commands could fill the Manager queue and trigger string overflow errors. The queue now has a size limit, and the poller handles exceptions. - **Mode and power:** A mode button configured to turn on a Zone could send ON and the mode out of order. One request now sends ON, then the selected mode, then reads the unit state. - **Setpoint display:** After a setpoint change, an older reply could make the displayed value jump back. Zone and HOA Zone now hold the requested value until the device confirms it. If the command fails or times out, they show the latest actual value. - **Sensor messages:** Manager now sends complete, separated Sensor messages so the Sensor module can read them reliably. ### Validation and limits - All nine SIMPL+ source modules built cleanly for Series 3 and Series 4 with zero errors and warnings. The production pin layout check passed. This help refresh does not change the tested runtime behavior. - The integrated RMC4 Auto Soak ran 24 hours with 10 UIDs, 10,800 commands, 10,799 replies by the completion boundary, 5,630 STATE records, 144 snapshots, stable 38-thread count, and no new handle warnings or SIMPL+ exceptions. One reply was in flight at the completion boundary. - The soak recorded 15 temporary three-minute gaps in background state updates while sending a command every eight seconds. Updates resumed and commands continued. The automatic soak verdict remains FAIL for those gaps; this is a known limit under sustained stress traffic. - SIMPL+ process memory rose from 40,316 to 58,388 KB during stress, then fell to 47,092 KB without a restart during ordinary polling. This run did not show a continuing memory leak. It cannot prove that every workload is leak-free. - Independent CP4 testing of this exact five-module release is still pending.
