  • Adapters should be installed on the master outdoor of each system
  • Each adapter should be set with a unique address using the dip switches as shown
    in the drawing
  • Maximum service adapters per line is limited to 8
  • It is not mandatory, however a best practice to set the adapter address the same as the system address it is connected to
  • GPIO terminals on the adapter are not
    in use

Terminal integration steps

The Toshiba adapter is programmed to align the outdoor unit with the correct indoor units.

In order to do that, we will run a test in the toolbox terminal.

  1. Type:
ostat

2. You should receive the response:

Y1.000 Undefined
OK

Look up the outdoor unit model from this list:

link Y1.100 SMMS
link Y1.100 SMMSe
link Y1.100 SHRMe
link Y1.100 SMMS-Mini
link Y1.100 SMMSu

3. Copy the correct outdoor line to the toolbox terminal. For example:

link Y1.000 SMMS-Mini

4. You should receive the response:

OK

5. Boot the device by unplugging and replugging the power cord/type in the toolbox terminal:

boot 2

Now, you will receive a different response when you type the "ostats" command in the toolbox terminal
