Alexa - How to connect to CoolRemote (legacy)

The integration of CoolRemote with Alexa allows you to use voice commands to control your HVAC system, connected through CoolAutomation devices. Voice commands can be activated through any Alexa device.

To start the process of connecting your CoolRemote with Alexa, you will need the following:

CoolRemote Account connected to at least one CoolAutomation device
Amazon Account

How to link the CoolRemote with Alexa

List of commands

Step 1: Log into the Amazon Alexa web portal using your Amazon account information (https://alexa.amazon.com)

Step 2: Click on the skills option from the menu on the left

Step 3: Use the search bar to find CoolRemote

Step 4: Click on CoolRemote and click enable

Step 5: lick allow and use your CoolRemote username and password to sync your CoolRemote account with Amazon Alexa

Step 6: Follow Amazon's instructions to discover the smart-home devices you can control with Alexa
