Daikin Non VRV – CoolMaster Indoor connection

This article applies to the following CoolMaster products:

  • CoolMaster *
  • CoolMasterPro
  • CoolMasterNet
  • CloudBox

Note!

  • Changing the dip switches, "S", while DC voltage is present on L1, may damage the CoolMaster
  • For Daikin non-VRV equipment, DC voltage supply by CoolMaster might be required for proper operation.
  • Make sure CoolMaster is disconnected from the power and HVAC line

Daikin Non VRV - Indoor connection

Maximum indoor per line: 64

  • Supported device line number: L1, L2
  • No line polarity required
  • Cable type – Follow Daikin's installation instructions
  • Set line type in the CoolMaster device to:  DK
  • Set dip switch according to the drawing
  • Follow DK instruction on how to address the units
  • Each Indoor must be set with group address for control
  • In Case the line is not mixed with VRV units , set the device line DC power on,  
    Caution – Apply power from the CoolMaster only if the line is free of power
    • Measure DC voltage on HVAC comm. line L1/2
    • If no 14-16V DC voltage change the dip switches as shown below
    • Go to settings --> HVAC lines --> L1 --> DC Out and turn on
