In rare cases the manufacturer ID configuration is wrong.
In these cases, downloading the KNX project will fail the the following error will show:
To validate that the issue is wrong Manufacturer ID configuration, follow these steps:
- Make sure that the Firmware version is 1.2.1 and above.
- Run the line command via the CoolAutomation ToolBox or an SSH terminal while connecting to the device. If the line command returns an ID in L3 as shown in the image below, it means that the configured ID is different than the CoolAutomation ID.
To resolve the issue, contact CoolAutomation support. Resolving this issue will require the following:
- A remote session to the PC running ETS using remote session tools such as AnyDesk and Team viewer
- The misconfigured device connected to the ETS
