Enabling Daikin "Auto" Mode for CoolMaster

This article applies to the following CoolMaster products:

  • CoolMaster *
  • CoolMasterPro
  • CoolMasterNet
  • CloudBox

Daikin has defaulted to have "Auto" mode disabled any time a Multizone/Central Controller, in this case a CoolMaster device is connected to the system.

To enable "Auto" mode - there are Indoor Unit Field Settings that need to be changed:

Daikin - Access Service Settings Menu.png

  1. Mode 1e > First Code Number 4 - "Schedule and Auto-changeover enabled when multizone detected" > Defaulted to 01 - "No"
    • Set to 02 - "Yes"
      • 01 = No
      • 02 = Yes
  2. Mode 1e > First Code Number 11 - "Auto changeover guard timer" > Defaulted to 03 - "60 min"
    • Set to Desired Time for Changeover Period
      • 01 = 15 min
      • 02 = 30 min
      • 03 = 60 min
      • 04 = 90 min

Note!!

  • Verify "Auto" is Permitted at the Indoor Unit's WRC and/or the Multizone/Central Controller(s)
  • This can be conflicting with Auto Changeover from a Multizone/Central Controller
  • CoolMaster interface will not reflect an Indoor Unit being in "Auto" mode, It is a passive gateway, reflecting the current/last operating mode of an Indoor Unit
